Nike has continually partnered with many designers in fashion-forward collaborations, blending athletic functionality with haute couture. For Spring 2024, the sports giant is teaming up again with the women's luxury brand Jacquemus, known for its minimalist and elegant designs. This collaboration is set to redefine the iconic Air Force 1 Low, a new colorway of the J Force 1, which was introduced in 2023.
Jacquemus’s latest Nike J Force 1 is a stunning representation of how high fashion can seamlessly merge with streetwear. The Earth colorway features an earthy brown tone that engulfs most of the sneaker. The silhouette offers both durability and a luxe aesthetic, crafted with a blend of mesh and suede, making it versatile for various settings. Gold accents on the JF1-branded lace dubrae and the petite Swoosh on the midfoot panel add an element of sophistication, enhancing the overall design.
The collaboration is further highlighted by co-branded details, visible on the insole and the heel tab, showcasing the partnership between Nike and Jacquemus. However, it's the sole unit that truly sets this sneaker apart. The woven sole, a distinctive feature, is composed of brown textiles and a combo of white and yellow foam/rubber in a pattern reminiscent of the Nike Footscape Woven, providing a unique and eye-catching look.
The Jacquemus x Nike J Force 1 Earth will release on February 26, 2024, exclusively through Jacquemus' website. A wider release through Nike SNKRS will take place on March 5. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $175.
