Throughout the NBA there are dozens of players who own impressive collections of sneakers and then there are those who can acquire the most exclusive pairs on (and off) the market. While PJ Tucker is usually the first to come to mind, Jayson Tatum has had an impressive run as the Jordan Brand athlete continues to appear in various PE colorways of new and old Air Jordan sneakers. Recently spotted in an AJ 37 Low mimicking his ‘66 Ford Mustang, this same silhouette hosts a “Boxing” inspired design exclusive to Tatum.
Black and white shades take over the entire silhouette and come accented by small hits of gold, truly conveying the boxing theme with its neutral palette and “Jayson Tatum” text written in a font similar to “Everlast” gloves. Black neoprene appears on the toe and tongue while white overlays wrap around the eyestays, midfoot, and heel. Branding details sans the aforementioned Tatum text come in gold with the Jumpman near the toe and on the heel as well as the aglets seen in this shade. Underfoot sits a black midsole with the heel portion getting a semi-translucent finish. Rounding everything out is the white semi-translucent rubber outsole taking DNA from the Air Jordan 7.
Jayson Tatum’s Air Jordan 37 Low Boxing PE will remain exclusive to the Celtics’ star, though we won't have to wait too long until his own signature sneaker with Jordan Brand debuts in the coming months.
