JJJJound, the Montreal-based studio, has made a name for itself with its minimalistic design language and penchant for high-quality builds across its inline releases and collaborative projects. Venturing into the footwear industry, JJJJound first made waves (and continues to do so) with the Boston-based footwear label New Balance and has now begun to partner with Reebok regularly. On the heels of the JJJJound x Reebok Club C “Olive,” a “Triple Black” colorway has just appeared.
Unlike the mainly white-based “Olive” colorway, this new all-black rendition utilizes nubuck across its upper. Each panel on the Club C gets coated in a monochromatic black with tonal stitching details to match. Matching black laces run up the tongue, which features a brandless finish as opposed to the usual Reebok tag placed up top. Along the midfoot, the branding window hosts “JJJJound” text in place of Reebok’s logo. Other unique details, courtesy of Justin Saunders’ label, include a leather sockliner and a blank heel tab. Rounding out the design is a black textured rubber midsole with Reebok branding on the heel paired with a black rubber outsole.
The JJJJound x Reebok Club C Black will be released in on August 25th, 2023, via JJJJound online. Releasing in men’s sizing, the retail price will be $150.
