Jordan Brand Introduces the Luka .77, Built for Outdoor Hoopers
Published
While Luka Dončić is set to debut his fourth signature sneaker, the Luka 4, in the coming weeks, Jordan Brand will be introducing his first-ever takedown silhouette, the Luka .77. Unlike his flagship Luka 4, which caters to elite in-game competition, the Luka .77 is built to handle high-intensity streetball sessions, mirroring the environments where Luka himself honed his craft as a young hooper in Slovenia. Luka’s new model will also be making history as the first signature outdoor-focused basketball sneaker from Jordan Brand.
At the core of the Jordan Luka .77 is a full-length dual-density foam midsole, combining a firm outer layer for durability with a softer, more responsive interior to absorb impact on hard courts. On the heel are seven strategic cutouts, ensuring a comfortable ride and plush landings ideal for long hours playing on outdoor courts. The Luka 4’s IsoPlate technology is also present in this takedown model, providing stability and balance for quick movements.
The upper is reinforced with high-abrasion mesh, delivering durability and breathability. In terms of design, the Luka .77 keeps things functional yet stylish, aligning with Dončić’s signature aesthetic while prioritizing long-lasting performance on unforgiving surfaces. The traction pattern is optimized for outdoor use, helping players maintain grip even on dusty blacktop courts. Jordan Brand has also incorporated a reinforced toecap, adding another layer of durability for aggressive hoopers who play at full throttle.

“The Luka .77 is for the kids — and for anyone who hoops outdoors,” says Luka. “When I was young, I used to play mostly outside but didn’t have footwear made for that environment, so I wanted to make a shoe for the next generation, giving them a tool to help them develop their game wherever they lace up.”
Between the Luka 4 and Luka .77, there will be multiple coordinating colorways, including the launch Space Navigator rendition, the Navigate color, and the Quai54 pair. On top of these, the silhouette will be released in Heritage, Back to School, and Dongdan options, the latter remaining exclusive to China.
The Jordan Luka .77 will release on April 8, 2025, through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. The retail price is set at $100 in men's sizing.
