Jordan Brand is Launching Its Most Technical Golf Shoe, the Jordan Air Rev, in May 2025

Jordan Brand may not be the first name that comes to mind when thinking of technically advanced performance golf footwear, but they’re looking to change this with innovations coming forward in the coming years. Starting things out is the debut of the Jordan Air Rev, a performance-focused silhouette that is the most technical golf shoe produced by the Jumpman to date.
At the heart of the Air Rev is a customizable fit system with a moveable Air Zoom unit placed in a sidewall pouch of the trail foot, providing efficient energy return with every swing. To balance out that dynamic propulsion, the lead foot benefits from a plush Formula23 foam insert, maximizing comfort and stability during follow-through. This design ensures the same pair can be used by both left and right-handed golfers simply by swapping components based on foot positioning.
“With Flight Lock, your trail foot works like a gas pedal, and your lead foot works like a brake,” says Matt Plumb, NIKE, Inc. Men’s Sport Footwear Director. “The containment system offers a proprioceptive feeling, a reminder to the athlete: ‘When I swing back, I want to push off the Air Zoom unit on my trail foot.’”

Additional tech includes a dial lacing system and a leno weave strap, both supporting a personalized lockdown fit. An integrated traction pattern based on pressure mapping keeps players stable on uneven terrain, while a waterproof synthetic upper ensures the Air Rev can withstand the elements.

The Jordan Air Rev will release on May 14, 2025, in the White University Blue colorway through Jordan and select retailers online and in-store. The White Metallic Silver pair will follow in the coming weeks. The retail price is set at $250 in men's sizing.
