From the Jordan 4, Jordan 6, and Jordan 11, some of the top-selling sneakers for Jordan Brand, when it comes to retros, span a wide range of early models. With many of these sneakers selling out instantly on release day or garnering resell prices many don’t feel comfortable paying, why not just combine all the top models into one? Well, that wasn’t the basis for the creation of the Jordan Dub Zero, the very first hybrid Jordan sneaker to hit the market back in the early 2000s, but it's definitely a selling point. As it's making it first return since a series of retro releases in 2020, the model has appeared in OG colorways like “Legend Blue,” but the latest to be revealed comes in a much more simple White Cool Grey.
Mashing up a variety of the most popular Air Jordan sneakers, the silhouette appears in almost all-white and draws its shape from the AJ 12 while patent leather overlays obviously harken back to the AJ 11. Sitting atop the patent leather that runs from the toebox back to the heel is a smooth leather overlay featuring a collage of various Jordan Brand sneakers, getting lasered into the material much like the AJ 20. Running up the white mesh tongue is a set of matching laces, passing by cool grey “T W O 3” embroidery and sitting below an embroidered Jumpman logo in this same grey hue. Back on the heel, the AJ 6-inspired pull tab comes in white and cool grey while the mesh sockliner nearby comes in the latter of the two shades. Rounding out the look is the AJ 4 midsole and outsole which gets a white/cool grey makeover.
The Jordan Dub Zero White Cool Grey is set to release in the Spring of 2023 through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Coming in full family sizing, the retail price is set at $160 (men), $130 (GS), $80 (PS), and $60 (TD).
