Since unveiling the sneaker in June, Jordan Brand has pushed their two young stars, Luka Dončić and Zion Williamson into the forefront of all the brand’s various initiatives, the latest being the Quai54 tournament in Paris, France, where the two stars hung out and attended the annual tournament’s festivities. With a few colorways already on the horizon, an all-new colorway of the Jordan Luka 1 has been added to the list of 2022 releases.
The Jordan Luka 1 "Black Signal Blue" features a black mesh upper reinforced with Flywire cables and fuse, with durabuck reinforcement for the eyelets. On the medial side of the upper is the Latin phrase "NON DESISTAS NON EXIERIS" in green, which means “Never Give Up Never Surrender.” The asymmetrical tongue features an iridescent gloss that backdrops Luka’s logo stitched in a silvery grey. The Formula 23-injected midsole is a speckled grey with a blue Iso Plate that accents the lateral side. The outsole is a clear rubber, revealing the placement of the Iso Plate and the full-length Formula 23 Foam mentioned above. A darker, tinted rubber wraps up onto the midsole, with one final hit of iridescent material on the heel of the sneaker.
The Jordan Luka 1 Black Signal Blue is set to release on November 5th, 2022. Look for the sneakers to release on Nike and at select Jordan Brand retailers worldwide, in-store and online, for a retail price of $110 in men's sizes.
