Luka Doncic's latest scoring feat, a staggering 73 points against the Atlanta Hawks, set a franchise record for the Dallas Mavericks and saw Doncic tie for the fourth most points scored in a single game in the history of the NBA. On the feet of the Slovenian superstar was his signature sneaker with Jordan Brand, the Jordan Luka 2. While the pair that Luka sported in-game was a PE, the public has a shot at a brand-new Jordan Luka 2 with the Black Volt colorway.
This latest Luka 2 colorway features a striking black and white spotted engineered mesh base, offering breathability and a unique aesthetic. Complementing this are the durable black nubuck overlays that add a layer of sophistication to the design. Volt accents, a signature color for high-energy releases, bring an electric vibe to the sneaker. These vivid touches appear on the Luka logo on the tongue, the insole, and the Latin phrase "Non desistas non exieris" split across the left and right heels, translating to "Never give up, never surrender."
The dual-toned sole unit further enhances the design, with the lateral side showcasing a white and black finish adorned with a volt Jumpman logo. In contrast, the medial side sports a striking volt and black color scheme. The shoe's construction is completed with a semi-translucent icy rubber outsole, providing traction and a sleek finish.
The Jordan Luka 2 Black Volt will release on February 2, 2024, through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men's and GS sizes, the pair will retail for $130 and $100, respectively.
