Hot on the heels of an array of Lucky Green Jordan releases in the past year, Jordan Brand is set to introduce the colorway on a new hybrid silhouette, the Jordan MVP. This hybrid model combines design highlights from the Air Jordan 6, AJ7, and AJ8 into a singular sneaker. This amalgamation of Jordan's legacy now receives another women-exclusive version drenched in the Lucky Green.
The Jordan MVP Lucky Green (W) pays homage to its lineage through a meticulous blend of elements from past Jordan models. The distinctive TPU overlay and "23" branding on both sides of the heel are borrowed from the Air Jordan 8. Aspects of the Air Jordan 6 find their way onto the tongue and other parts of the upper, while the embroidered Jumpman from the AJ7 finds its place on the lateral collar. Overlays from the AJ7 also surface on the upper, enhancing the design's dynamic texture. For a classic touch, Nike Air text is emblazoned on the heel.
The sneaker is primarily bathed in pristine white, with Lucky Green and black accents providing contrast on the TPU overlay and branding details. Underneath, a white midsole houses the cushioning, with green rubberized segments reaching upwards from the black and green outsole.
The Jordan MVP Lucky Green (W) will release in Spring 2024 through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Available in women's sizing, the retail price is set at $165.
