In a bold move for 2024, Jordan Brand reintroduced the Jordan Spizike in a low-top form, sparking curiosity and excitement among sneakerheads. This hybrid sneaker, launched initially as a tribute to Spike Lee's influence on the Air Jordan line, combines elements from iconic models like the Jordan 3, 4, 5, 6, 9, and 20. The recent comeback has been met with enthusiasm, with various colorways on the horizon. On top of the upcoming Toro and Flax colorways, Jordan Brand has crafted a UNC rendition of the Spizike Low.
The Jordan Spizike Low UNC features a striking design that pays homage to various UNC Jordan retros. The sneaker boasts a white leather upper accented by grey elephant print suede on the mudguard and heel, drawing inspiration from the Jordan 3. UNC blue accents add vibrant pops of color on the lace cover and lace lock, reminiscent of the Jordan 6, as well as on the tongue, wing eyelets from the Jordan 4, and the pull tab. The look is completed with a white and UNC blue midsole borrowed from the Jordan 3 and a grey and blue rubber outsole.
The Jordan Spizike Low UNC will release in November 2024 through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing for $160, additional sizes include GS for $125, PS for $80, and TD for $60.
