Trends continue to shift in the sneaker world with sock-like knit sneakers having their time in the spotlight for a few years, then it was low-top retro basketball sneakers, and now foam clogs are sweeping across the industry. Jordan Brand’s solution to this is the Jordan System.23, a two-piece knit and foam clog that has already appeared in multiple colorways, though the latest borrows from the iconic AJ 3 "Black Cement."
As previously mentioned, the silhouette utilizes a two-piece construction with an internal knit bootie and outer exoskeleton foam clog. On the knit portion, an elephant print comes in a two-tone grey and black shade with two black pull tabs aiding on and off wear. Surrounding this, the foam exoskeleton comes with a textured top half that features perforations on the toebox and heel while the bottom half comes smoothed out. Along the medial side, a Jumpman logo and “23” text are visible in the tonal black the rest of the foam is dressed in. Underfoot, the foam midsole and outsole continue the monochromatic black look, finishing off the colorway.
The Jordan System.23 Black Cement is slated to release this Holiday season through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $110.
