The Jordan Tatum 3 Gets a Breast Cancer Awareness Colorway
Published
Although Breast Cancer Awareness Month takes place in October, Nike and Jordan Brand have been prepping Kay Yow-themed colorways for various NCAA programs over the last month. We previously saw Nike Basketball gift Ohio State and the Oregon Ducks pairs of the Kobe 9 EM Think Pink PE. Now, Jordan Brand is getting in on the action with a Breast Cancer Awareness-themed colorway of Jayson Tatum's Jordan Tatum 3.
Photographed here by PE collectors dangnicekicks on Instagram, the pair has been seen on the court across various Jordan Brand-affiliated NCAA basketball teams over the last month, including the University of Florida. The pair retains the typical construction on many other Tatum 3 colorways, featuring a mixture of ripstop mesh, mesh, and leather separated by wavy textile panels. Various pink hues douse the sneaker, with hot pink on the panels separating the lighter pink ripstop and mesh.

Jordan branding is found on the lateral toe and heel tab, with the Jumpman logo contrasting the pink hues with a white finish. Aside from this and the JT logos on the tongue tag, there are no nods to Kay Yow, the non-profit breast cancer awareness that often works with Nike on these exclusive sneakers. The pink foam midsole finishes the design with a tonal rubber outsole.
Unfortunately, the Jordan Tatum 3 BCA will not be released publicly. Instead, they’ll remain exclusive to select NCAA programs that are affiliated with Jordan Brand.
