Jordan Brand Introduces The Air Jordan Two Trey
PublishedThe sneakers that Michael Jordan himself wore during the iconic six championship run in the 90s will forever go down in the annals of history as some of the most iconic silhouettes to grace the hardwood floor. With that in mind, Jordan Brand has previously mashed together the silhouettes worn during the Bulls championship run to create the Jordan 6 Rings. Now in 2022, a successor to the remixed silhouette has arrived in the classic “Concord” colorway, the Jordan Two Trey.
Containing elements from the Air Jordan 6, 7, 8, 11, 12, 13, and 14, the silhouette takes both its colorway and patent leather details from the AJ11. Down on the toe, stitching details call back to the AJ12 while the tongue above houses elements from the AJ8 and the AJ13 with its chenille patch. Along the midfoot panel, perforated leather details remind one of the AJ6 while the collar takes design elements from the AJ7. Back on the heel, a Jordan patch contains the years 91-93 and 96-98, denoting MJ’s two championship runs. Rounding out the look is the midsole and outsole fusion of the AJ11, 12, and 14 in an icy blue.
The Jordan Two Trey Concord is set to release in 2022 through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Coming in full-family sizing, men’s pairs will be priced at $155.
