Jordan Brand athletes may not be able to live up to the man which the brand is named after, though their signature sneaker models are often some of the most advanced tech-wise in the basketball market. One of these athletes, Zion Willamson, is set to debut his second model with the brand once the NBA season kicks off in October, though we’ve already got plenty of looks at colorways planned for release, including the upcoming Jordan Zion 2 TB White Metallic Gold.
The silhouette gets doused in an all-over white across its leather and mesh overlays and underlays while metallic gold accents appear on branding details located on the forefoot strap, tongue, heel, and insole. A white-on-white lace and tongue combo blend in with the perforated leather overlays and mesh underlays, aiding the breathability of the model. Zion’s signature appears on the tongue in the previously mentioned metallic gold shade, though it also comes in white near the toe of the midsole. Making our way down to the white sole, an Air Storbel unit in the heel adds comfort and allows for softer landings while the Zoom Air in the forefoot adds an extra dimension to the cushioning system. Rounding out the look is the white on-grey rubber outsole featuring “ZW” branding on the forefoot.
The Jordan Zion 2 TB White Metallic Gold is slated to release through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store this Holiday season.
