Zion Williamson launched his third signature sneaker last year, the Zion 3, and we've seen plenty of options on the sneaker since its launch. Many of these have taken on multi-color makeovers, with the latest seemingly inspired by the iconic Galaxy Pack from Nike Basketball in 2012.
Dubbed Lift Off, this new Zion 3 features a striking multi-color galaxy print across its base layer, evoking the vastness and mystery of outer space. This galactic theme is complemented by black TPU overlays, which are particularly noteworthy for their unique origin: they are derived from a 3D print of a mud splash created by Zion stepping in mud. The design is further enhanced with solar red accents on the Jumpman branding on the tongue and the Zion logo on the heel, adding a bold pop of color. Inside, the sneaker boasts a full-length drop-in midsole equipped with Formula 23 cushioning, ensuring optimal comfort and responsiveness on the court. The black TPU midsole is paired with a glow-in-the-dark outsole, making this sneaker as functional as it is visually striking.
The Jordan Zion 3 Lift Off will release on September 12, 2024, through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $140.
