Unfortunately, Zion Williamson will have to miss tonight's game against the Los Angeles Lakers as he's reportedly injured his hamstring, dealing a massive blow to the team trying to win tonight's play-in game. Even though last night may have been the last time we see Zion this NBA season, his signature sneaker line with Jordan Brand will continue to push forward. Just after we got an official look at the Pressure colorway of the Zion 3, a new M.U.D. variant is dropping in a clean Orchid color scheme. Previously, the M.U.D. version debuted with the Light Bone colorway.
The Jordan Zion 3 SE M.U.D. Orchid differentiates itself with a premium approach to design and materials. The upper is crafted from a plush combination of nubuck leather and suede, detailed with a textile finish that mimics a mud print pattern. All of this is enveloped in a soothing orchid hue that gives the shoe a striking yet subtle look. This special edition incorporates a forefoot strap for enhanced lockdown, ensuring stability and support during intense activities.
Additionally, Jordan Brand has upgraded the cushioning system in this version, replacing the standard Formula 23 foam with a full-length Zoom Air unit, promising superior comfort and responsiveness. The sneaker features an orchid-colored rubber midsole alongside a matching tonal outsole, maintaining a cohesive and elegant aesthetic.
The Jordan Zion 3 SE M.U.D. Orchid will release on April 30, 2024, through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $150.
