The Junya Watanabe Man x New Balance 471 Pack Releases Fall 2025
Published
Paris Fashion Week has been full of reveals for the upcoming Fall/Winter 2025 season, and New Balance has been a major part of the festivities. Per usual, brands like AURALEE featured the Boston-based footwear label in their show, with the aforementioned Japanese fashion house previewing a T500 collaboration. Another long-time partner, Junya Watanabe, has revealed a new project with NB during fashion week.
Tackling the unreleased New Balance 471, a new low-top sneaker that leans into the vintage and retro aesthetics of ‘80s runners, Junya Watanabe keeps things simple with two clean color schemes: Black and Grey. Both pairs come with premium fuzzy suede on the mudguard, toecap, eyestays, and heel overlay, while the base layer differs. The Grey rendition sees a breathable mesh base and smooth leather on the midfoot N logo, while the Black colorway comes with canvas on the base layer and tumbled leather on the N logo.

NB logos are placed on the top of the woven tongue label. However, Junya Watanabe branding is added on the heel tab and along the insole. Both pairs have a thin foam midsole in a tonal finish and a contrasting wavy rubber outsole.
The Junya Watanabe Man x New Balance 471 Pack will release in Fall 2025 through select retailers online and in-store, including Dover Street Market.
