KAWS needs no introduction. From his work with Jordan Brand, Kanye West, Travis Scott, Fortnite, and more, the multi-faceted artist has partnered with just about every brand, celebrity, and concept across all industries over the last few decades. Over the summer, KAWS himself shared with the world his latest collaborative project would be with General Mills and their cereal series, Monster Cereal, a variety of flavors based on fictional characters. Just like the food industry conglomerate’s collaboration with Travis Scott and Reeses Puffs, it seems KAWS will be releasing exclusive boxes and merch in celebration of this partnership.
In an Instagram post, KAWS showcased the four redesigned boxes that have already hit shelves nationwide, Boo-Berry, Count Chocula, Franken-Berry, and Frute Brute, though they look to come in a plastic case this time. On top of this, shirts featuring the four redesigned characters, all of which get typical KAWS details like X ’d-out eyes and the ears from his famous Companion character, will launch on the site.
Aside from the upcoming limited items, if you do happen to purchase a box at your local grocery store you can enter a code on kawsmonsters.com that will enter you for a chance to win a limited-edition set of Monsters Cereals figurines that come designed by KAWS himself.
The KAWS x Monsters Cereal Collection is set to release on October 11th, 2022 at 12:00 PM EDT/9 AM PDT exclusively on kawsone.com.
