Thanks to style icons like Emily Oberg, Justin Saunders, and of course, Pharrell Williams, hype surrounding the legendary Samba is set to reach new heights very soon. Even though the silhouette is well over 70 years old, its design has pretty much remained exactly the same since, and as a testament to this, Ronnie Fieg will be adding his own twist to the iconic model with the Kith Classics x adidas Samba OG Collection. Featuring three premium colorways, while this isn't the first time that the New York City-born creative has taken on this shoe, it's certainly his best version yet, so read on to find out everything that you need to know.
Teased in "White," "Black," and "Tan" flavors, all three pairs are crafted from luxurious leather and supple suede throughout. Contrast Three Stripe branding decorates the first two Sambas, but the beige version opts for a monotone aesthetic that's perfect for earthier fits. Along the tongue you'll find a tag that's debossed with the Trefoil logo as well as Fieg, and this co-branding can also be found on the insoles alongside a symbol that represents "Genuine Leather." While the photos aren't quite clear enough, it looks like the usual midsoles have been switched out for high-end crepe rubber, offering up a very vintage vibe that's sure to turn heads wherever you go.
According to our sources, the Kith Classics x adidas Samba OG Collection will release sometime in December 2022 in men's sizes.
