Over the past few years, Ronnie Fieg’s Kith has opened several new locations globally, including stores in Toronto, Seoul, Beverly Hills, and a second Miami location. To celebrate these openings, Kith has frequently teamed up with major footwear brands to create exclusive, commemorative sneakers. Kith is launching a new store in Malibu, California, and to mark the occasion, they are releasing a special edition New Balance 1300 alongside a 580.
The Kith x New Balance 1300 Malibu features a creamy color palette that captures the laid-back, coastal vibe of Malibu. The upper is adorned with cream-colored pigskin suede on the mudguard, midfoot, and heel, providing a luxurious and soft touch. An off-white canvas base layer contrasts beautifully against the suede, appearing on the toe, tongue, and collar for added texture and depth. Tan leather accents the N logo, heel tab, and the 1300-branded tongue tag, bringing a touch of sophistication to the overall design. This elegant upper sits atop a white foam midsole, offering comfort and support, while a light brown rubber outsole completes the look, ensuring durability and grip.
The Kith x New Balance 1300 Malibu will release on July 4, 2024, through Kith online and in-store. A raffle for the pair will open up on the Kith App on July 2.
