Kith and Ronnie Fieg introduced a loyalty program for customers earlier in the year, with multiple tiers offering exclusive benefits. Once introduced, we saw the Molecule tier receive a made-to-order adidas Gazelle Indoor in collaboration with Clarks Originals, continuing the triple collab that took the sneaker world by storm. Following this, the Elevation tier was given an exclusive adidas AS350, adding Clarks’ crepe sole unit, but the top tier, Vitality, was left without a drop. That’s changing with Ronnie Fieg, Clarks 8th St., and adidas teaming up on the BW Army silhouette.
Originally produced in the 1970s for the German army, the adidas BW Army has had a cult following amongst fans of The Three Stripes and within fashion circles, spawning recreations like the Margiela Replica and more. Ronnie elevates the humble model with a premium suede and smooth nubuck finish on the upper, with the green of the Vitality tier applied to the suede overlays, laces, tongue, and heel. Below this sits a smooth white nubuck leather, visible along the toe, midfoot, and collar. White leather is featured on the sockliner and the Clarks, adidas, and Fieg-branded hangtag. More co-branding comes placed on the tongue tag. Rounding out the design is the natural crepe sole unit from Clarks.
The Ronnie Fieg x Clarks 8th St. x adidas BW Army Vitality launches September 20, 2024, via Kith online exclusively for Vitality tier members. Like previous tier-exclusive drops, the pair will be made-to-order, with the window to place an order closing on September 27 at 11:59 PM ET.
Exactly when shipping will begin has yet to be made clear, but based on previous made-to-order Kith products, expect to wait at least six months (if not more). As of now, the retail price has yet to be announced.
