The Kith x Salomon XT-Whisper Pack Releases February 2025

Ronnie Fieg unloaded the clip on Instagram, previewing a slew of different inline products and collaborative efforts as part of Kith’s upcoming Spring 2025 collection. This includes the brand’s next project with French-based outdoor label Salomon, who just teamed up with Kith to create two new silhouettes for the Kithmas 2024 Collection. Now, Fieg and co. are tackling the newly revived Salomon XT-Whisper.

Salomon revived the XT-Whisper silhouette in December 2024, re-releasing the model to much praise. The sneaker debuted in 2000 as a women’s version of the brand’s XT-Hawk model. Ronnie Fieg has applied Kith’s elevated touch to the sneaker, still retaining the shoe’s technical features. On the base sits a black mesh contrasted by a lime green hue on the wavy, contoured metallic silver overlay along the midfoot and the paneling back near the heel.

Further hits of green appear on the XT-Whisper-branded nylon strip along the spine of the tongue and the Kith-branded window in the center of the metallic silver leather on the top of the tongue. Fieg also applies metallic silver to the quickLACE setup, heel overlay, and along the toecap, the latter featuring debossed Salomon branding. Underfoot sits a white, green, and grey foam midsole containing EnergyCell cushioning and a multi-directional traction pattern on the black outsole.

Alongside the initial pair previewed, a second pair in Vanilla was also revealed. It features the same updated branding details and technical features of the Dark Citron pair but opts for a lighter color palette.

The Kith x Salomon XT-Whisper Pack will release February 14, 2025, exclusively through Kith online and in-store. Available in women's sizing, the retail price is set at $150.
