Dwayne Wade's illustrious career in the NBA, crowned by his recent Hall of Fame induction, is more than just basketball - it's also about style, innovation, and his signature line with Li-Ning. This relationship between Wade and the renowned Chinese sportswear brand has gifted the sneaker world with some notable releases. And in a celebratory move, Li-Ning held a major event post Wade's induction, pulling the curtains back on a fresh silhouette for the Way of Wade Infinity series.
The forthcoming Li-Ning Way of Wade Infinity sports an entire upper sculpted from a single piece of foam. Dominated by ripple-like waves, this design choice evokes memories of models like the unreleased Yeezy Foam RNNR Boot and Yeezy D-Rose collaboration. The heel is adorned with the Way of Wade logo. A familiar element from previous entries in the Infinity line, the midfoot carries a distinctive cut-out. In a seamless transition, the foam extends downwards, forming both the mid and outsole. It’s likely this is a lifestyle-oriented model, unlike other Infinity released in the Way of Wade line that have stuck to performance basketball.
The Li-Ning Way of Wade Infinity has no exact release date, though we will likely see a release in 2023. When the pair does hit shelves, expect to see Li-Ning and select retailers online and in-store drop the sneaker. As of now, sizing and pricing information has yet to be announced.
