Thanks to the late, great Virgil Abloh, the Air Jordan 2 has seen a rise in popularity with many releases in store for us throughout 2022. While we were treated to a first look at the low-top “Responsibility” edition set to release later this year, today we have a detailed look at another new AJ 2.
Made in collaboration with Parisian lifestyle brand Maison Chateau Rouge, this Air Jordan 2 Retro is known as the “United Youth International” edition. Featuring a cream-based leather upper, a unique debossed graphic adorns the tongue and side panels with brogue-inspired perforations and rippled fringe throughout. Orange and yellow accents can be found throughout the sneaker, including an additional toecap.
Custom labeling is found on the inside tongue tags, dual branding on the back heel tabs and printed insoles. Tying back to the theme is the aforementioned custom printed insoles featuring a young MJ along with dual branding and “United Youth International.” Speckled hits on the midsole paired with a cream outsole finish things off for these Air Jordan 2s.
The Maison Chateau Rouge x Air Jordan 2 Retro United Youth International is set to release in June 24, 2022. It will drop at Nike as well as select Jordan Brand retailers worldwide in-store and online. Coming in men’s sizes, retail is to be announced. Keep it locked to our Twitter andMobile App to stay up to date on future releases. Looking for a full rundown on the Jordan 2 silhouette?
