Crocs’ ability to collaborate with just about anyone has given us a wide variety of themed clogs over the last five years. Looking back at 2022, the Colorado-based brand’s link-up with Italian fashion house MCM was a shock as the Classic Clog, typically found for under $60, was retailing for nearly $400 thanks to MCM’s leather additions. Following up on this collab, the MCM x Crocs 2.0 collection is about to drop, and it carries forward the iconic design elements that made the first collaboration a hit.
Coming in two colorways, one of the Classic Clogs arrives in a stark white amped up by lime green accents on the Italian Viseto-covered sports mode strap and Jibbitiz. This pair exemplifies a harmonious blend of subtle elegance and playful audacity. The other Clog takes on a sophisticated khaki hue, contrasted with black accents on the sports mode strap and mini Fursten belt. This belt showcases a 3-in-1 modular design, making it a versatile accessory that can be detached and worn as a bracelet or added to either Clog for a personalized look. Each pair also comes with tonal Jibbitz matching the secondary shade, constructed out of metal, and featuring various MCM-branded designs. To ensure the same level of comfort as a standard pair of Crocs, the collection employs Croslite foam construction, while the padded heel cushion takes comfort a notch higher.
