Getting ready for a 10:00 AM EST drop on Nike SNKRS is a ritual sneakerheads are all too familiar with. Waiting with bated breath, users enter SNKRS draws or attempt to purchase and more times than not are met with the "Didn't Get 'Em" screen. Which shouldn't surprise most, nowadays there are millions of other customers (and the 12 billion bot calls Nike claims to prevent) entering for SNKRS releases on drop day. Following Nike's recent "trend of transparency" regarding the SNKRS App, Nike has just revealed the top releases for 2022 in terms of the number of customers entering for a particular sneaker.
Surprise, surprise - Travis Scott's collaborations dominated 2022 despite the Astroworld debacle. In fact, three of the top 10 most entered for sneakers are Travis collabs, with the AJ 1 Reverse Mocha taking the #1 spot the “Phantom”" AJ 1 Low coming in at 4th and his take on the Air Max 1 landing at number eight. Other notable releases that made the list were Concepts x Nike SB Dunk Low “Orange Lobster” and Air Jordan 1 High OG “Lost & Found,” coming in at number three and number five respectively. Below are the top 10 sneakers entered for on Nike SNKRS in 2022.
Looking into 2023, we’ve got plenty of sneaker releases that could potentially contend with 2022's releases. For more updates on the latest happenings in sneakers, streetwear, and more, keep it locked to our Twitter and the Sole Retriever mobile app.
