Jaden Smith's collaboration with New Balance has been innovative since its inception in 2019. His unique vision for design and sustainability has seen a series of releases that stand out, most recently with the MSFTSrep x New Balance 0.01. Following the OG White Black release and looks at a Grey variant, a new Black White colorway has emerged.
This iteration of the MSFTSrep x New Balance 0.01 is a study in contrast, merging black suede and white leather across its construction for a stark yet appealing look. Most of the upper is black, with suede overlays covering the mudguard, midfoot, and heel to create a textured, layered appearance. White leather adds a touch of sophistication to the heel tab and collar, creating a visual balance that's both striking and wearable.
Branding elements include the New Balance NB logo prominently on the midfoot and tongue. At the same time, the medial side and the heel boast MSFTSrep's distinctive branding, signifying the collaboration's unique identity. The sole of the MSFTSrep x New Balance 0.01 Black White borrows elements from the New Balance 550, featuring a segmented design that offers glimpses of the internal foam.
The MSFTSrep x New Balance 0.01 Black White will release April 26, 2024, through New Balance and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $110.
