More New Balance 1906D Protection Pack Colorways To Arrive In 2023
PublishedWith continual releases of their Made in USA line spearheaded by Teddy Santis and upcoming collaborations with the likes of Joe Freshgoods, AURALEE, and ALD, New Balance has truly made a statement in 2022 in terms of hardcore sneakerhead hype. While these projects that often utilize outside help have been a hit, one of their more popular themes has fallen under the Protection Pack banner that started with the 2002R and has transitioned to the newly reintroduced 1906D. Already appearing in "Cream Black" and a standard "Black" look, panda-like vibes emerge on the most recently revealed NB 1906D Protection Pack "Grey Black."
Coming covered in white-colored mesh on its underlays, various distressed and “eroded” panels of grey suede take over a large portion of the upper. Complimenting these shades are black hits featured on the midfoot N logo that acts in part with the NLOCK lacing system, sockliner, and the plastic heel counter. Running up the mesh tongue is a set of flat laces in white, working over the leather NB Running branded patch that comes in a combo of gold, black, and white. More branding details are found along the collar with “1906D” stamped atop one of the lone leather panels as well as “NB” placed directly on the spine of the heel. Rounding out the design is a white midsole and black rubber outsole that borrows from the 860v2 silhouette.
The New Balance 1906D Protection Pack Grey Black is set to release in 2023 through New Balance and select NB retailers online and in-store. As of now, sizing and pricing information is TBA.
