Bearing a striking resemblance to the “Higher Learning” Pack that launched earlier this year, this 2002R tones everything down slightly, resulting in a rich plum purple upper that’s decked out in mesh and suede. Earthy brown hits accent the rest of the shoe, adorning the vamp and “N” logo, and “2002R” branding is proudly printed around the heel in white. Shifting your focus down below, the N-ERGY midsole has been given a creamy finish for a perfectly vintage vibe. This is contrasted with even more dark grape hits at the heel, finalizing the design.
The New Balance 2002R Dark Grape is set to release sometime in 2022 in men’s sizes.
