The resurgence of New Balance in the sneakerhead world has been a sight to see, with the Boston-based brand reaching new heights thanks to their brand ambassadors and collaborative efforts. Through this, their GR models on popular silhouettes like the 2002R are selling out quickly. Aside from the upcoming “Protection Pack,” the New Balance 2002R “Navy Cream” is headed our way.
Dressing the upper is a mix of premium pig suede and mesh, seen on the overlays and underlay respectively. Across the suede, a deep navy blue that appears somewhat purple, accents the cream mesh with hints of baby blue and tan making their mark near the heel. An ashy grey colored tongue gives way for the cream laces and baby blue NB logo. More branding details can be found on the midfoot with N logos on both sides of the silhouette and 2002R stamped beneath the collar on the lateral side. Rounding out the look is the off-white Abzorb cushioned midsole and N-ergy laden rubber outsole in a similar shade of cream.
The New Balance 2002R Navy Cream is set to release in 2022 through New Balance and select NB retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $140. Keep it locked to our Twitter andMobile App to stay up to date on future releases.
