Known for revisiting classic models and offering innovative spins, New Balance has taken the 550 silhouette and given it a new lease on life. Alongside the "Sea Salt" colorway, the New Balance 550 now takes on a compelling "Black Hemp" rendition, swapping traditional suede or leather for an all-hemp upper.
Adorned with an all-hemp upper in a rich, deep black, this pair channels a timeless and versatile aesthetic. Counterbalancing the dark hue, white and grey accents enliven the branding details. The "550" and "NB" logos stand out boldly on the lateral toe and heel in crisp white. In addition, a grey tongue tag provides a stark contrast to the all-black tongue and lace set, subtly highlighting the details. Completing the design, a classic white midsole and outsole nestle underfoot.
The New Balance 550 Black Hemp will release June 1 through New Balance and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $120.
