New Balance’s 576 is one of the primary silhouettes produced at its UK Flimby factory. A cloudy white version of the sneaker dropped just a few days ago, and earlier this year the Flimby factory celebrated its 35 year anniversary with a selection of colorways. This time around, New Balance dresses the 576 in “Apricot”.
This New Balance 576 Made in UK is wrapped with an orange premium hairy suede, with purple mesh poking through on the ankle and toe. Purple carries over to the “N” logo, which is a bit darker than the mesh and lined with 3M. Dark royal blue N wordmarks sit on top of a canary yellow leather heel patch, with the same colors stitched onto a grey tongue. A light grey panel cuts below the heel mesh and into the eyestay, with the shoelaces matching in color. New Balance’s famed heel clip takes on a darker grey as it descends into a light grey and white midsole. The rugged outsole is coated in black, creating a stark contrast to the rest of the shoe.
The New Balance 576 Made in UK “Apricot” is set to release July 20 via New Balance and select retailers, online and in-store. Releasing in mens sizing, the retail price is expected to be $240 for this premium offering.
