2022 has proven to be a successful year for New Balance with the rollout of their 9060 silhouette, Made In USA line helmed by Teddy Santis, and a heap of on-point collaborations from various heavy hitters. While many look forward to their collaborative efforts, their in-line releases are still making waves, though the latest pair of NB sneakers to appear is an update to one of their lesser-known silhouette, the New Balance 580 V2, which is coming in a White Green Yellow mix.
A combo of leather and plastic dress the upper of this 90s running model with the majority of the sneaker taking on a white tone. Various overlays around the toe and midfoot come in white leather with green accents appearing on the New Balance N logo, cream hits on two plastic overlays, and yellow making its way onto the sockliner and insole. Running up the white tongue is a matching set of laces, weaving in and out of the eyestays to an NB 580 tongue tag. Back along the heel are two accenting hits with one being the green leather heel tab and a black NB logo stamped atop the heel overlay. Underfoot is a two-tone white and cream midsole with a yellow ROLLBAR placed on the heel. Rounding everything out is a black rubber outsole.
The New Balance 580 V2 White Green Yellow is slated for a release in 2022 through New Balance and select NB retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is TBA.
