The New Balance 580 White Timberwolf Takes on a Vintage Look
Published
The New Balance 580 is a shoe steeped in the history books for New Balance. First debuting exclusively in Japan as a cheaper alternative to other models, the sneaker is now a worldwide hit. This year we’ve seen a slew of NB 580s hit shelves, with the latest coming in a vintage-like “White Timberwolf” colorway.
This particular version sees the 580 take on its usual triad of materials in leather, suede, and TPU. A clean, white leather adorns the mudguard, midfoot panel, vamp, and heel overlay, creating a crisp contrast with the earthy tones. Tan suede accentuates the toebox and iconic "N" logo, creating a beautiful balance of textures and shades. TPU overlays near the collar match the suede in tone, framing a white mesh for that vintage vibe. Complementing the white tongue, the laces come in a matching hue, drawing the eye to the tan "NB" branding above. Underfoot, a cream-colored midsole is equipped with a white ROLLBAR near the heel for stability, while a black outsole completes the stylish design.
The New Balance 580 White Timberwolf has seen a release through select retailers, while a wider launch through New Balance will take place later this year. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $140.
