Over the last few months, New Balance has placed a laser focus on its 580 silhouette. First released back in 1996 as a Japan exclusive, the old school model hasn't been seen around for the past few years. With that said, following the release of the Palace x New Balance 580 Pack and leaks of the 580 "Olive", we're now taking our very first look at the New Balance 580v2 "Navy."
Arriving in a classic color combination, the 580v2 works atop a breathable mesh base in white, and is overlaid by navy suede panels that wrap around the entire upper for a contrast that is sure to turn heads wherever you go. The Boston brand's "N" is stitched onto the laterals and medials in a smooth leather, and vintage branding is embroidered on the tongue and heel as a nod to its vintage roots. Underfoot, you'll find crisp midsoles that are infused with Rollbar technology for the perfect balance between comfort, cushioning, and response. This is then lined with a black rubber outsole, making these ideal for everyday wear.
The New Balance 580v2 Navy is set to release in 2022 in men's sizes with a retail price yet TBA. Expected to drop at New Balance and select retailers worldwide, make sure you follow us on Twitter and download ourMobile App to find out everything that you need to know about this sneaker as well as future drops.
