When the New Balance 610 made its official debut back in 2012, it was nothing short of unremarkable. An update to the 573, it was introduced in a selection of drab colorways that you would just never notice. With that said, as we head towards the hiking shoe's 10th anniversary, the Boston-based sportswear giant has brought it back, and it's now better than it ever was. Returning in two eye-catching color schemes, here's everything that you need to know about the new and much-improved New Balance 610 Pack.
Revealed in two vintage-inspired color schemes including the "Beige Brown" and the "Tan Black," the former will no doubt be the more popular of the pack, while the latter is the more versatile option. While the original 610 was designed and developed for hiking, 2022's version places a stronger emphasis on the lifestyle element. The old school ribbons that wrapped around the sidewalls of the OG have now been completely eliminated, and in its place is a clean mesh and leather construction that fuses form and function at the same time. Underfoot, the midsole has now been upgraded with ABZORB technology, while the N-DURANCE outsole offers unrivaled traction and durability with every step, making this the ultimate everyday shoe.
Coming with extra sets of laces, theNew Balance 610 Pack is set to release on November 11th, 2022 in Japan with a global launch expected very soon. Dropping in men's sizes with a retail price yet TBA, these will be available via New Balance and select online and in-store retailers.
