If you're a massive fan of the retro sneaker trend and a follower of the gorpcore aesthetic, but you want a shoe that's a little more eye-catching than the current black and gray offerings, the upcoming New Balance 610v1 "Orange" might just be what you've been looking for all this time. A silhouette that originally released in the early 2010s, the Boston-based sportswear company has brought it back in full force.
While classic 610v1 drops are crafted from nothing but leather and suede, this vibrant version opts for a dark grey mesh and glossy orange patent leather outfit instead. Made to stop traffic, it's decorated with an oversized New Balance logo across the laterals and medials, and it's accompanied by a pair of rugged pull tabs across the tongue and heel which harken back to the model's trail running roots. Underfoot, the heavily-sculpted ABZORB midsole has been infused with C-CAP technology for the perfect balance between comfort, cushioning, and response.
Dropping alongside other colorways like the "Green Punch," theNew Balance 610 Orange will release in 2023 in men's sizes via New Balance and select online and in-store retailers for $120 each. Even more colorways are expected to launch soon, so make sure you follow Sole Retriever on Twitter and download our officialMobile App for all of the latest updates!
