New Balance has been a staple in the sneaker industry for over a century, continuously pushing the boundaries of performance and style. Often pulling from the archives, as seen with models like the 550, 2002R, and more recently with the 580, the Boston-based brand is bringing back the OG “Grey” colorway of the oft-forgotten New Balance 725 with some vintage touches added to the color scheme.
Although not exactly like the OG “Grey” pair, this rendition features a mixture of suede and mesh alongside TPU overlays across its upper. Grey mesh peeks through the toebox, midfoot, collar, and heel, while wavy suede panels take over the upper. You will find hits of white via the TPU on the toe and heel with NB branding, seen on the midfoot’s “N” and the “725” branding near the heel and tongue. Underfoot sits an ABZORB-cushioned midsole in a creamy hue paired with a white rubber outsole.
The New Balance 725 Grey is set to release on April 25th, 2023 through New Balance and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men's sizing, the retail price is set at $110.
