The New Balance Fortress and Prodigy Football Cleats Launch in Neutral Hues
PublishedNew Balance entered the world of professional football by signing multiple NFL athletes over the last year. More recently, the Boston-based footwear label launched its first football cleat models, the Fortress and Prodigy, with the two pairs selling out quickly. New Balance is following up with new versions of these cleats in sleek, neutral colorways. The Fortress and Prodigy cleats will be available in White and Black, ensuring they complement any team uniform while maintaining their high-performance design.
The Fortress and Prodigy cleats feature New Balance's advanced technology to enhance on-field performance. The Fortress cleat, designed for intense battles on the field, comes in a mid-cut silhouette, providing excellent ankle support. Meanwhile, the Prodigy cleat, tailored for skill position players, features a low-top design for increased agility.
Both models boast a FantomFit upper, which offers lightweight bonded support to keep players' feet secure. The cleats have a FuelCell sockliner for superior comfort and a dual-injection nylon and TPU plate for robust support and traction. Accenting hits include the piping of the N logo on the Prodigy and the N logo itself on the Fortress, adding a subtle yet stylish touch to these high-performance cleats.
The New Balance Fortress and Prodigy Football Cleats are set to release on July 18, 2024, through New Balance and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $170.
