The New Balance Lindor 2 Vintage Puerto Rico Releases September 15

Francisco Lindor, the shining MLB star, partnered with New Balance in 2017 to create the Boston-based label's first signature baseball cleat with an athlete. Fast forward to today, and we’re onto the second iteration, the New Balance Lindor 2, and have received multiple colorways, including the “Summer Storm” rendition. For its latest version, the Lindor 2 honors Hispanic Heritage Month with a Puerto Rican-inspired colorway.

The Lindor 2 stands out in design and caters to baseball players' specific needs, enhancing their game while looking stylish. The silhouette blends New Balance's cutting-edge FuelCell foam technology, ensuring an energetic underfoot experience. The cleat showcases a 7-spike metal plate, giving players that much-needed grip on the field, tailored for baseball athletes. A molded cleat version also features TPU instead of metal spikes. Functionality is further highlighted with its Speedlace system and multiple hook-and-loop straps, making adjustments seamless. The synthetic upper ensures durability, a must-have for any sport-centric footwear. This "Vintage Puerto Rico" edition expresses Lindor's pride in his Puerto Rican lineage. The intertwining of blue, red, and white resonates with the Puerto Rican flag, a tribute to his roots.

The New Balance Lindor 2 Vintage Puerto Rico will release September 15, 2023, through New Balance and select retailers online and in-store. The lifestyle variant will be priced at $110, the metal cleated version at $120, and the molded cleat at $130.
