While New Balance was proudly born and bred in Boston, Massachusetts, since 1982, the sportswear company has been producing high-quality shoes, like the 576, straight from their factories in Flimby, England. To celebrate this silhouette's 35th birthday, NB has officially taken the wraps off of the New Balance Made In UK 576 "35th Anniversary" Pack. Featuring two premium colorways, make sure you read on to find out everything that you need to know.
Originally introduced back in 1988, the 576 was made to be a performance running shoe. Seen here in olive grey and navy color combinations, the pairs are outfitted in luxurious suede and pigskin with contrast stitching throughout. The base is crafted from ballistic mesh, and both sneakers sit on top of white and gray ENCAP midsoles which offer unrivaled comfort and cushioning with every step. Dates can be found behind each tongue, and they come packed in special edition shoeboxes that were made for the biggest NB Made in UK fans out there.
"The 576 has taken many different forms and variations over the years," states Sam Pearce, Creative Design Manager for New Balance Made in UK. "But now, with the model clocking its 35th anniversary, we wanted to give the consumer the true experience of this shoe in its original form."
Set to release overseas on March 2nd, 2023, the New Balance Made In UK 576 35th Anniversary Pack will be available in men's sizes via New Balance and select retailers with a retail price of $230.
