For 2024, Nike has taken an avant-garde approach to its sunglasses design that will be launched as part of the brand's comprehensive Olympic Collection with the Zeus and Athena sunglasses.
The Athena sunglasses feature a polarized lens with a striking design that turns heads. The right lens is much larger and shaped in a circular pattern, unlike the more sporty, smaller lens on the left. The edge of the lenses comes with a safari print that has been seen on multiple Olympic-themed sneakers, including the Dunk Low, GT Cut 3, and Alphafly 3.
For the Zeus shades, which retail for $450, Nike has embraced a moth-like design. The sunglasses feature a wire-frame running along the edges of the polarized and iridescent lenses. The bridge sports perforations and an avant-garde shape reminiscent of the vibe from the Oakley Overthetop shades from the 2000 Olympics.
