The Nike Air Alpha Force 88 is Back in Dark Smoke Grey

The Nike Air Alpha Force 88 made a triumphant comeback in 2023. Since then, numerous colorways have been released, including OG's like White University Red and Game Royal. We cannot forget that Billie Eilish also put her vegan twist on four AAF 88s, including Triple Red. While the retro silhouette didn't resonate with the current generation of sneakerheads as it does with the older vets, Nike still kept the silhouette on the market throughout 2024. Before we bid farewell to this year, the Air Alpha Force 88 will touch down in one more colorway, Dark Smoke Grey.
The Nike Air Alpha Force 88 Dark Smoke Grey edition comes in a colorway that would fit the original lineup from the late 80s. The entire upper is covered in dark smoke grey tumbled leather, with perforations on the toebox and collar. Black accents the midfoot strap, plastic eyelets, and wraps around the back heel. Light Smoke Grey comes into play via the piping, while smoke grey covers the lining. A summit white-colored Swoosh on the sides helps to break up the greyscale vibe. Subtle hits of orange provide a pop of color, as seen via the basketball logo on the tongue and Nike branding on the insoles, bottom of the outsole, and embroidered on the back heels.
The Nike Air Alpha Force 88 Dark Smoke Grey is set to release in Holiday 2024. It will be available at Nike and select retailers in-store and online. Coming in men's sizing, retail is set at $140.
