Nike's "Athletic Company" Collection is quickly becoming one of its most diverse ranges ever. After checking out the Air Max 97, Dunk High , and Dunk Low earlier this season, we're now taking our first look at the Nike Air Force 1 Low Athletic Company "Sail Royal." Inspired by the roots of the Oregon-based label, when Phil Knight and Bill Bowerman decided to create a running shoe brand made by athletes, for athletes, this is the ultimate tribute to one of the world's most iconic sportswear companies of all-time.
Unlike a conventional pair of Forces, this one drops the usual all-leather construction in favor of a crisp white canvas upper that's as versatile as it gets. Game royal Swooshes shoot through the lateral and medial sidewalls with a premium tumbled effect, and this rich blue hue extends towards the sockliner for a pop of contrast that is sure to turn heads wherever you go. Sail highlights outline each and every panel across the upper, and this is complemented by aa creamy Air midsole underfoot which offers a very vintage vibe. Of course, you can't talk about this AF1 without mentioning the scream green bulldog that's printed across the insoles. Nodding to Nike's collegiate days, it's surrounded by "Athletic Dept." text as well as the year "1972."
Dropping alongside the "Noble Green," the Nike Air Force 1 Low Athletic Company Sail Royal is set to release in Summer 2023 in men's sizes for $110. Expected to drop at Nike, the SNKRS app, and select online and in-store retailers, follow our Twitter and download our official Mobile App for your best chance to cop, and if you're looking for a more in-depth breakdown of the AF1, check out our Nike Air Force 1 Buyers Guide.
