The .SWOOSH Nike Air Force 1 Low Tinaj Releases October 20
Updated on •PublishedNike, alongside just about every major company across the globe, has entered the Web3 and NFT space with various ventures like the ultra-premium RTFKT collections and the more accessible .SWOOSH. For the latter of the two, we haven’t seen too much in terms of actual Web3 usage as so far the label has given us a tournament-style bracket to decide the best AF1 Low of all time and a design contest to give select members their very own official collaboration with Nike. Now, sticking to the classic Bruce Kilgore-designed silhouette, official images of the Nike Air Force 1 Low Tinaj have been revealed.
Taking on a two-tone design featuring shades of white and black, the AF1 gets covered in high-quality leather with a smooth finish applied to the mudguard and toebox while the rest of the upper’s overlays and underlays take on black tumbled leather. Added .SWOOSH branding details appear on the mudguard and tongue tag with a mini embroidered Swoosh featuring a dot in a royal finish with this same logo appearing on the metallic silver lace dubrae. Back on the heel, the phrase “This is not a JPEG” surrounds another .SWOOSH logo in royal blue, however, the Nike Air text on the heel remains unchanged and continues the royal blue theme found on other branding details. Our final hit of .SWOOSH is found on the insole’s graphic while the design is complete by a white AF1 midsole paired with a semi-translucent icy blue rubber outsole.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low Tinaj will release October 20, 2023 on the Nike SNKRS App exclusively for .SWOOSH members who have purchased and revealed at least one Our Force 1 box. If you have a box, but have not revealed it just yet, you have until October 16 in order to be eligible to purchase the sneaker. Releasing in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $120.
