As well as being one of the most popular lifestyle sneakers ever made, the Air Force 1 is also one of the most iconic basketball shoes of all time. In fact, when Bruce Kilgore officially revealed them back in 1982, they completely dominated the hardcourt. To pay tribute to its roots, the Oregon sportswear giant is releasing the Nike Air Force 1 Low Hoops "White Royal," and it's stuffed with loads of cool details that we've never seen on any other AF1 before.
Taking on the classic "Triple White" color scheme, these Forces boast an all-leather construction that's smooth and supple. Perforations on the toebox offer optimum ventilation, and fiery picante red accents set the tongue and heel alight. To the laterals and medials you'll find a bold game royal Swoosh, and speaking of which, the midfoot panels are decorated with a three-dimensional pattern that adds depth to the design. Showcasing a bunch of Nike logos and basketballs, this is the ultimate homage to the sneaker's origins.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low Hoops White Game Royal is set to release sometime in 2022 alongside a slew of other colorways. Dropping at Nike and select retailers worldwide online and in-store, they'll be available in men's sizes with a retail price yet TBA.
