Halloween is the perfect time for footwear brands to get creative, and Nike always has a handful of releases up their sleeves. This year, outside of the variety of Nike Basketball models like the Ja 2, Book 1, and Kobe 5, Nike has prepped a skull-laden pack of classic models, including an AF1 and a Dunk Low. After official images of both pairs emerged online, a new white AF1 with an old-school hockey mask on the toebox emerged.
Likely an indirect homage to the killer from Friday The 13th, Jason Voorhees, who wore a similar-looking vintage hockey mask, this AF1 takes on a triple white color palette. Premium tumbled leather graces the paneling throughout, with the toebox featuring cutouts that resemble the mask worn by Jason. While most of the sneaker is coated in a stark white shade, you get a pop of black via the canvas visible along the toebox and a metallic silver hue on the AF1-branded lace dubrae. Finishing the designs is the white-on-white rubber midsole.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low Jason Voorhees will release on October 24, 2024, through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $150.
