After checking out the "Summit White Black," "Summit White Gorge Green," and "Summit White Hyper Royal" earlier this season, Nike has now traveled to the other side of the color spectrum with an AF1 that's unlike anything that we've seen before. Falling in line with the same theme, the Nike Air Force 1 Low LX "Green Gold Obsidian" drops the all-white leather in favor of a wild and wonderful '90s-inspired palette that's so vibrant, you could probably spot them from space.
While this might look like just another Air Force 1, there's actually a story behind this particular release. Crafted from premium tumbled leather from heel to toe, it works on top of an obsidian base with gorge green and deep royal blue overlays across the toebox and back, respectively. A gold Swoosh shoots through the lateral and medial sides, and just in case that wasn't eye-catching enough, the lacing system is decked out in team red suede. Across the tongue, heel, insole, and dubrae, you'll find a retro font that's actually taken from the '90s icon that is the Air Command Force. The ultimate tribute to what is considered by many old school sneakerheads as one of the best basketball shoes ever made, if you didn't manage to secure a pair back in the day, this it the ultimate alternative.
