With Nike’s newest web3 initiative .SWOOSH currently hosting a tournament-style bracket to choose AF1 colorways to curate its first collection (the Our Force 1 Collection), it’s evident the silhouette holds a special place in the heart of Nike and the hearts of millions around the globe. As is usual, the model is expected to receive a variety of colorways heading into the new year with the latest revealed coming with paint splatter details with grey accents - aptly dubbed the Nike Air Force 1 Low Paint Splatter “Grey.”
Coming mainly dressed in white throughout its upper, splatter details, grey accents, and small material changes differentiate this AF1 from your typical white-on-white pair. Starting around the leather mudguard, you’ll find grey paint splatter throughout which carries over to the heel overlay, however, the toebox and eyestays refrain from this detail. Tonal white laces and the white tongue help the orange “Nike Air” tag pop against the all-white backdrop. Material changes land on the quarter panel, Swoosh, and heel tab with the former of the three coming in canvas while the latter two receive a grey suede makeover. Underfoot sits an aged AF1 midsole paired with a grey rubber outsole.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low Paint Splatter Grey is set to release in 2023 through Nike and select NSW retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at TBA.
