The year has really only just begun and Nike has already blessed the sneaker community with a vast range of colorways that we'll definitely be adding to our collections over the next few months. With special releases like the "Beef & Broccoli" and "Gingham" and hotly-anticipated collabs from the likes of Off-White and Tiffany & Co. currently on the horizon, the American sportswear company is ready to reveal another coveted edition with the upcoming Nike Air Force 1 Low Satin "White Red" - and here's everything that we know so far.
Unlike conventional AF1s, this particular pair replaces the usual all-leather construction in favor of a satin outfit that's soft and supple to the touch. Taking the classic perforations out of the picture, the sneaker is smooth and seamless and is contrasted by fiery gym red Swooshes that shoot across the lateral and medial sides. A complementary velvet badge features around the back complete with "Nike Air" branding, and the Air midsole underfoot has been lined with an icy blue rubber outsole, resulting in a colorway that looks wildly similar to the original Cortez from 1972.
As you might have already guessed, the Nike Air Force 1 Low Satin White Red W will release sometime in Summer 2023. Set to drop exclusively in women's sizes, they'll be available at Nike, the SNKRS app, select retailers both online and in-store for $120.
